CHANGE TO ADVANCED MAILING LIST
For many years members have been invited to add their names to a list of members particularly interested in overseas travel to operatic and music events. Those who have done so have received early notification of these events, before the information has been circulated to the whole membership. This has enabled an early judgement of the likely demand for places on events that can involve the Club in appreciable early financial commitments.
This list of members has grown appreciably over the years and now includes a number of members who have not responded for some years to invitations to participate in events. In the interest of economy, therefore, I shall remove from the list any members who have not responded to the early notification of travel plans within a three-year period. Any member particularly interested in overseas travel to music events may, of course, have their name added to the list. Just contact me with your details.
Please note that those who participate in organised travel events of this kind, whether in the UK or overseas, must be fully paid-up members of the Club. However, guests are very welcome at other Club events.
